Eleven Mile State Park | Backcountry Campground
An important part of our teaching philosophy at the center, the annual
retreat aims to broaden the learning experience of our regular classes
and allows the participants to experience "the
journey of returning to one's own original nature...". Open
to the public for the first time, this 2-day weekend retreat will
cover a broad array of Meditation, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi concepts and
practice. Anyone of any ages will welcome this experience.
PROGRAM
- Tai Chi Exercises, "the ancient Dance of Change and Unity,
the Dance of unfolding, the Dance that unlocks all mysteries from
within, the Dance of the incomplete beauty
- Absorbing Qi (Energy), Yin/Yang (Moon/Sun) energy, Earth
energy from trees and mountain
- Tai Chi Sword Dance under the Moon to "absorb the Moon's
energy and nourishing one's arms & fingers"
- Reciting Taoist Classics: Lao Tzu "Tao Tze Ching" for "nourishing
the mind"
- Midnight Meditation to maintain spiritual awareness"
- Qi Gong at Dawn "to strengthen, revitalize and noursih one's
bone, marrow, tendon and muscle". |
